Sungai Klah Hot Springs Park

Opened in the year 2000, Sungai Klah Hot Springs Park is in Sungkai, Perak and located 61 m nearer to the sky, on the foothills of the Titiwangsa Range.

Now commercially known as Felda Residence Hot Springs, it is managed by Plantation Resorts Sdn Bhd (PRSB), a subsidiary of Felda Agricultural Services Sdn Bhd (FASSB).

It is Malaysia's largest and most well-maintained hot springs, that's such a delight to visit, for a splashing, rejuvenating and exuberating getaway.

A group of us visited this lovely place almost two years ago - read about our trip there with more pictures included.

Its attractions, to name a few, are :
  • hot springs that are creatively engineered into a network of various-sized pools. Water temperature ranges between 30 - 102 degree Celsius;
  • an Olympic-sized hot spring pool that gets its heat sourced from underground;
  • another large-sized knee-deep Mountain Springs cooling pool;
  • 30 m water reflexology path;
  • private jacuzzi;
  • egg boiling activity at a natural hot spring area with water temperature up to 102 degree Celsius;
  • another hot spring pool area, close to the egg-boiling pool, with temperature between 35-38 degree C, great for dipping your feet for relaxation and have skin rejuvenated by the algae therein;
  • enjoy the wonders of nature, flora and fauna with its surrounding hills and cold mountain streams and rivers, amidst lush greenery, forests and the like;
  • villas and a hotel with 64 rooms are available for residence.
A must visit to this natural wonderland of hot springs, to explore one of Malaysia's many marvels and enjoy an amazing and therapeutic experience!

Blogger Blog #2

Why create a second blog at Blogger?
  1. Simply had to try out the marvelous features available at the new Layouts available for newly created blogs.
  2. No confidence to upgrade my first blog, peacockflower.blogspot.com from the old template to the new one with Layouts features. So, needed a testing ground here to familiarize the new Blogger's Layouts first before proceeding the upgrade.
  3. To assist me in helping out a friend in need of guidance to create a blog, 'No-frills Recipes', her very first attempt. It was necessary to facilitate my teaching efforts with a blog that has similarly laid out features like hers, otherwise we won't be able to understand what the other is saying/asking.
P/S: Nevertheless, after publishing some posts, I've decided not to delete this second blog, it does look alluring to me. I'll continue to maintain it since it can introduce my beautiful country, Malaysia to the ends of the world, so to speak!
